The Role:
We are seeking a talented SDET Senior Automation Engineer to join our growing team at Technology Sales & Advisory. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the automation codebase and implementation of the existing Playwright automation framework.
- Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases based on product specification documents.
- Perform both manual and automated testing, with a focus on automation.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, black box, performance, unit, cross-browser compatibility, sanity, data consistency, integration, and system testing.
- Demonstrate strong understanding and skills in testing web and mobile applications.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of API testing and automation.
- Have expertise in debugging techniques for software systems and mobile apps.
- Provide support for deployments and maintenance activities.
- Maintain and improve deployment and software delivery processes.
- Exhibit a history of learning new skills and embracing new challenges.
- Assume leadership responsibilities for automation tasks and contribute as an individual contributor to the success of related projects.
- Create test suites/scenarios for maintenance and reusability of manual and automated tests.
- Apply analytical abilities to requirements to minimize multiple iterations.
- Act as a central point of communication between contributors and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with test automation, specifically using Playwright and TS/JS.
- Minimum 5 years of QA experience in testing web applications and mobile applications for iOS/Android.
- Minimum 5 years of QA experience in testing APIs and databases.
- Hands-on experience with performance and security testing would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of creating automation frameworks from scratch.
- Effective communicator and flexible team player.
- High technical competence with a track record of strong coding and/or technical accomplishments.
- Knowledge of building and testing large-scale iOS apps and codebases.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
- Driven, creative, and result-oriented.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant years of work experience.
